Educators deserve a pay rise

Educators deserve a pay rise

The women and men who teach our young children in early childhood education are some the community’s most dedicated professionals. We should pay them a professional wage.

Labor and the Greens have already committed to funding a pay rise for educators.

Now, we are asking Prime Minister Morrison, Education Minister Tehan and the Liberals to do the same.

The women and men who teach young children in early childhood education are some of this country's most dedicated professionals. But right now, educators are paid as little as $22 an hour.

We should pay early childhood educators a professional wage, one that reflects their skills, dedication and the role they play in nurturing and teaching our youngest minds.

We want a government that will invest in pay increases for early childhood educators and we'll only get this if they know we want it.

Add your name today and tell the Liberals we want a government who will fund a pay rise for educators.
