Government policies for working families have gone backwards over the last three years.
It is becoming increasingly hard for new mums to afford time off with their babies and to afford childcare when they return to work.
This Federal Election, parents will be looking at how each party will help their family - especially with paid parental leave (PPL), the rising cost of childcare and ensuring all schools have the resources they need for our kids to thrive.
After three years of inaction and broken promises on PPL and childcare, we aren’t asking for much from our leaders - we just want to be heading in the right direction.
We want our representatives to step up with a credible plan to help mums have enough time with their newborn babies and eventually return to work without having to struggle with skyrocketing childcare costs.
Ultimately, when we go to vote - we will support politicians who support our families. Every person who signs up to our pledge helps us build a unified front that can show the candidates running for office we mean business.
That's why I'm calling for fairer parenting policies this election.
