✍️ Sign the Petition: Establish a National Early Childhood Commission
Australia’s early childhood system is under pressure — with rising costs, uneven access, inconsistent quality and alarming failures in safety and oversight.
Every child deserves the best possible start in life, and every family deserves access to early childhood education and care they can trust.
We’re calling on the Federal Government to create a National Early Childhood Commission: an independent body with the power to lead reform, enforce consistent national standards and make quality and safety non-negotiable across the country.
Why It Matters
Across Australia, families are navigating an early childhood system that’s difficult to access and inconsistent in quality. Every child deserves to be safe, supported, and nurtured in their early years — no matter where they live.
In regional and remote areas, services are limited and waitlists are long. Many families everywhere face rising costs, limited hours, and a system that often falls short of meeting their needs.
We need a national solution — one that brings together early learning, care, health, and family support into a system that works for every child and every family.
Add Your Voice today
This petition reflects the voices of thousands of families, educators, and advocates calling for a system that’s proactive, not reactive — one that listens, responds, and puts children at the centre.
Now is the time to create a truly universal, high-quality early childhood education and care system — one that helps every child thrive and reach their full potential.
Sign the petition today — and help us push for national leadership and real change.
