But right now, Australia funds just 26 weeks of paid parental leave, paid at minimum wage. For most families, that's simply not enough.

    Fully support 12 months at comparative wage rate. Sending babies to daycare before 12months is awful – and they are not ready. Harsh reality for a lot of working families though
