It is on - The Federal Election 2022

We’re heading to the polls in just 6 weeks on Saturday May 21, 2022. This is a key moment for Australian families. It is time for people like you and me to use this election to demand a better deal for children, mums, dads and carers.

We’re heading to the polls in just 6 weeks on Saturday May 21, 2022. This is a key moment for Australian families. It is time for people like you and me to use this election to demand a better deal for children, mums, dads and carers.

Every election matters but off the back of the pandemic as well as the devastating floods and bushfires, this election really matters. When we asked members like you what issues will influence your vote the message was clear: you want action on climate change, on childcare and on women’s safety.

We do too. To make that happen we need to give every candidate a nudge and tell them how vital these policies are!

Chances are you’re skimming this email while you wait for school pick up, or while breastfeeding in the dark at 2am, or when your kids have finally gone to sleep after two hours of “But Muuuuum/Daaaaad I NEED water/snacks/the fan on/the fan off/my other toy”. We know you’re time poor and we don’t want to eat into too much of your already precious time.

That’s why in just two minutes - aka less time than it takes to find two kind-of-matching socks - you can let your local political candidates know that parents and carers deserve world-class Paid Parental Leave, free quality early learning and Outside School Hours Care.

Our lives are already busy and stressful enough, so let’s alleviate some of that! Australia’s policies are outdated and now is the time to catch up to the rest of the world with guaranteed supports for the early childhood years.

Please contact your MP today.

Let's do this!

Georgie Dent
