Prime Minister Morrison: Let's make Australia the best place in the world to be a parent!
Australia lags developed countries in the provision of evidence-based policies that support families and children. With one of the least adequate paid parental leave policies in the world and the fourth highest out-of-pocket child care costs for families among OECD nations, escalating mental distress, a recession and workplaces that fail to accommodate caring responsibilities, parents of young children are really struggling.
It is time for a National Parenting Strategy: a coordinated framework of policies that will deliver optimal outcomes - for children, parents, society and the economy.
Join our campaign and call on Prime Minister Scott Morrison to do better for Aussie parents and children - because supporting parents will create a more gender equal society.
